The 17th Annual Strong, Smart, and Bold Breakfast
Our 17th annual Strong, Smart, and Bold Breakfast on May 8 at the Union League of Philadelphia was a success! We are thrilled to announce that we raised over $125,000 to support our programs. Visit our website here to read more and here to see photos from the event.
Spend the Summer with Girls Inc.
Our camps are filled with opportunities to explore careers, dream big, and participate in hands-on projects as girls work closely with college and professional mentors. Visit our website here to learn more and to register.
Outcomes measurement is very important to us. Girls ages nine and older participating in 50+ hours of programs annually participate in the Girls Inc. Strong, Smart, and Bold Outcomes Survey (SSBOS) to capture data on girls’ perceptions and experiences related to the areas of healthy living, academic enrichment, and life skills. View our outcomes here.
Penn Athletics & Discovery
Girls in our Discovery program were paired with mentors from the University of Pennsylvania to participate in health and wellness activities and play soccer and volleyball. This Fall, girls will learn gymnastics!
The Discovery program is designed for girls ages 6-8 years old to cultivate their leadership skills through literacy and healthy lifestyles activities. To learn more and to sign up for Discovery, please visit our website here.
STEM GEMS' Green Cities
Our STEM GEMS have been working very hard to design and build their very own Green Cities out of recycled materials. Girls proudly presented their cities to parents at our culminating family engagement event this month.
In STEM GEMS, girls ages 9-11 participate in hands-on STEM activities where they explore, ask questions, persist, and solve problems. To learn more and to sign up for STEM GEMS, please visit our website here.
We work with corporations to provide middle and high school girls with opportunities to experience a wide range of career possibilities. By hosting a Career Exploration Day, your company and employees will help connect girls to the many career opportunities that exist in your industry while encouraging them to pursue the education necessary to achieve those careers.
