Ballet Folklorico
A message from the Superintendent
The beautiful dancers pictured above are from Ballet Folklorico. They recently performed at the inauguration of La Plaza, a community wellness organization that is making its new home at Lincoln Elementary. Some of our students will be learning more about Ballet Folklorico and Latin Hip Hop at camp at Comstock Middle this summer. There is also a wonderful mariachi camp, maker camp and more.

Even if your child is not attending summer programs, I hope that you can help them keep learning over the next couple of months to avoid the "summer slump," a term used when students actually drop in academic performance at the start of the next school year.

One place to start is the Sonoma County Library. Through our partnership in the Student OneCard program , each of our students can use their student ID number instead of a library card. There are books, online music and magazines, and summer events just waiting to be discovered.
