ZotAlert now allows up to five contacts


zotALERT now allows registered users to list up to five contacts (family and friends) to receive alerts during an emergency or critical event. Previously registered mobile phone numbers and email addresses will remain in place.

Your student should use their UCInetID to sign up for zotALERTS and add contacts to zotALERT. Registration is easy and only takes a few minutes.


Grad Expo is the one-stop shop for Commencement needs


To participate in Commencement ceremonies, all graduates must wear appropriate academic regalia. Grads must purchase their cap, gown and tassel at UCI Alumni Association's Grad Expo.

  • Class rings, diploma frames, grad announcements
  • Cap, gown, tassel, grad photos, Commencement flowers and more
Pre-order flowers for your grad at commencementflowers.org/ucirvine. Grads can pick up pre-ordered flowers at any booth during commencement weekend.

    Please join us on Thursday, May 16 from 3-7 p.m. for an informative tour of our cutting-edge cancer research facilities, followed by an inspiring dinner with innovative UCI staff and faculty.

Jobs & internships are blooming at UCI

Whether your student is looking for an internship, summer job or their first career position - the   Spring Career Fair has what they need.  More than 100+ employers will be recruiting students from all majors and backgrounds for part-time, full-time and internship opportunities.


New mini-career fairs are being piloted this quarter. Each fair targets a specific industry and provides students with a more intimate ability to connect with employers. Each mini-fair occurs 4-6 p.m. at Career Pathways and is open to all undergraduate and graduate students.

  • May 23   Esports (Non-gamer/non-player positions)
 

 
FOR GRADUATING SENIORS

This week-long series of workshops, labs and panel presentations can launch your student into their next chapter after UCI. Topics include resume help, preparing for interviews, salary negotiation and how to stand out to recruiters. Students can search for events and find details here and on Handshake.

High school students get a jump on college success


High school students can benefit from hands-on learning to advance academic and professional skills in a variety of interests. These programs, taught by UCI faculty, are a great way to gain experience while enhancing a college resumé.
 
High School Summer Institute in Law
Offered in collaboration with UCI School of Law, students are introduced to the legal system in the context of students' rights while they gain practice in public speaking, persuasion, negotiation and legal analysis.
