This talk helps us examine the complexity of racial conditioning and the dynamics of racial oppression with fresh eyes, supporting us in cultivating a culture of greater clarity and compassion.

Ruth King is an international teacher in the Insight Meditation tradition, and an emotional wisdom author and life coach. She is on the Teacher's Council at Insight Meditation Community of Washington and Spirit Rock Meditation Center, and is the founder of Mindful Members Insight Meditation Community in Charlotte, NC.

Meet Mark Segal, founder of the Philadelphia Gay News and the author of And Then I Danced: Traveling the Road to LGBT Equality. Segal, with the Gay Liberation Front 1969-71, will serve as Grand Marshall’s of NY’s Stonewall 50/World Pride/Gay Pride Parade this June. His books will be available for purchase and signing.
