May 2020 - What's Happening!

As most of you know the store has been partially open for curb-side pick up for the last few weeks. It has been very busy and I really want to thank you all for your support. It is certainly a difficult time for everyone and we are all learning how to adapt in this unprecedented time in our lives. Over the last few weeks we have had to change how we do business, how we interact with each other, and how to make things work as they are. For my family, my husband and I have had to lean on each other as we both have continued to work, as well as, stay at home with our eight year old daughter. She misses her friends and teachers and does not understand this unexpected change.

Fortunately, for the store, the framework for an online store was already established. So these past few weeks we have been busy uploading fabric, notions, books, quilt kits, gift cards, and more. The brick and mortar store has become kind of like a mini warehouse with us checking the online orders as they come in, cutting fabric, pulling notions, staging orders for packaging, planning pick-up and drop off times, etc. It's all been a little crazy! Fun, but crazy!

So what happens now? As the Government of Ontario has announced Phase 1 of re-starting the economy, we will continue to offer contact free curb side service for a little while longer. We want to ensure that once we open the doors and let customers in that we can provide a safe shopping environment for you and our staff.

Don't despair! We are still OPEN Tuesday through Saturday, to fulfill any orders you may have! Call, message,

or email your orders to us OR shop online and choose

curbside pickup or Canada Post. In-town delivery may be requested as well. It won't be too long until we can once again have a good laugh or share a story at the cutting table (or close to it)! But for now...
