ASID Requests Economic Relief for Interior Designers
In March, ASID reached out to Congressional leadership to encourage greater economic relief for our nation’s design and construction industry and, specifically, the thousands of small and sole practitioner interior design businesses across our country.
As many of you know, the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act, or CARES Act, was recently passed and signed into law. Thankfully, many of the items requested by ASID in a March 23 letter were included in this package. The CARES Act has created a number of programs and economic assistance packages for individuals and small business owners.
