Recent Event with Watson & Band Law Firm
Through a connection made by Chinese Chamber member Porter Wright , the Chinese Chamber hosted an online event with Shanghai-based Watson & Band Law Firm on March 12, " Covid-19 Challenges, Responses and Suggestions from Businesses in China."

Attorney Yiqi Cai shared how force majeure contract clauses are being reviewed, and innovated practices for sharing underutilized employees are being used in China.

During Q&A, attendees had the pleasure of asking questions of Watson & Band co-founder, George Fu .

While at Capital University Law School, Mr. Fu established a sister-court relationship between the Ohio Supreme Court and the Shanghai Supreme Court.

Community News
Ma La Hotpot , located at CAM International Market in Hilliard, plans to reopen March 28th, when inside dining is allowed as part of Responsible RestartOhio.

In preparation for reopening, guest separators and a medical-grade filtration system are being installed.



The mayor of Columbus' sister city in Taiwan, Tainan , recently sent a care package to Mayor Ginther (at left).


This thoughtful gift included several special flavors of noodles made in Tainan.


Eric McGraw of Columbus Sister Cities is currently preparing a return gift of Columbus specialities.
