Help Keep Your Data Current

For the sake of compliance, we require all employers to send us a list of new hires and terminations as they happen.

The continued accuracy of your company census is important, as it allows for timely enrollments and terminations and helps you avoid complex payroll changes and billing issues.

Along with sending you the emailed or faxed monthly update request, we have created a simple form that you can fill out and send to us as changes happen, rather than waiting for us to request them.

To view and save the form please

*Be sure to save the link as a favorite so that you can update us any time you have changes.

No time for the form? You can also email Belinda with your changes. Be sure to include hire date and salary information, or termination date.

Monthly Tip!

Do your employees have access to telehealth?

Some group health plans have telehealth built into the plan, but many do not, or they charge a copay or coinsurance for the appointment.

With Freshbenies, you can give 24/7 access to medical care to all employees regardless of their enrollment in a health plan. This is a very inexpensive way to provide a helpful benefit during this difficult time. It can be employer paid or payroll deducted, and costs less than $10 per month to cover an employee and their family. FreshBenies also offers a Pet Telehealth option, covering calls to a veterinarian as well!

Ask your Advisor today about adding Freshbenies to your benefits package.

Spotlight: Covid-19 Coverage
sad_businesswoman_help.jpg
We have many employers coming to us with questions about their coverage and Covid-19.

We have complied a list of resources from our carriers to answer your questions:

The U.S. Department of Labor has created excellent resource material for both employees and employers to understand their rights and obligations.

For employers, please refer to this link:

This is a summary of the leave requirements of the act and how employers can earn "dollar-for-dollar reimbursement through tax credits for all qualifying wages paid under the FFCRA". It's important to note that "applicable tax credits also extend to amounts paid or incurred to maintain health insurance coverage."

For employees, this information is repeated on a separate informational page at : https://www.dol.gov/agencies/whd/pandemic/ffcra-employee-paid-leave

A Frequently Asked Questions web page is now available on the DOL website at: https://www.dol.gov/agencies/whd/pandemic/ffcra-questions

High Deductibles?

Times like these make us question whether employees have adequate coverage should they get sick and need to be hospitalized. Many of our clients have moved to a high deductible plan in recent years due to high premiums.  Don't let fear of a high deductible keep your employees from seeking medical care. Anthem's Life Secure plans can take away the worry, providing them cash payments for accidents, critical illnesses and  hospitalizations

Ask your Advisor about how to offer this affordable solution today!
