A big thank you to Keller Williams for helping solicit nearly 6,000 pounds of donated food during their "Red Day" Food Drive for FISH!
Adjusting to the "New Normal"
During the month of June, FISH will continue to use the drive-up food distribution model, provide boxes for home delivery through Meals on Wheels and Easy Ride, and offer remote financial and resourcing appointments for those who need rent, utilities and other assistance. Our number one goal is to help all residents who are struggling now, while maintaining all CDC and CDPHE guidelines. We realize that we must be diligent to protect the health and safety of those most vulnerable to this illness. Click here to watch our video on how FISH is adjusting to the "new normal."
Congratulations & Best Wishes
What is on the bucket list for Jon Ansley as he sails into retirement? Long walks, yoga, more time with his lovely wife and grand-kids, and, of course, no meetings! FISH is incredibly sad and excited to announce Jon Ansley's official retirement starting in June. Jon has been an anchor at FISH for almost ten years, with his steady leadership, unwavering dedication and compassion, and sense of humor. We hope to celebrate his retirement sometime this summer! Look for more news of this in June.

Not only do they keep everything running smoothly, they are warm and welcoming to all of the new volunteers at FISH. We are so impressed with their hard work and dedication! Thank you to:

 Mental Health Awareness Month
Approximately 1 in 5 adults in the United States — more than 43 million people — experiences a mental illness in a given year. Mental illness does not discriminate, affecting men and women, boys and girls, across all ages, races and social classes. The month of May is a time to raise awareness about mental health and help reduce the stigma associated with mental illness. Click here for more information! For local resources, visit Mental Health Partners or Community Reach .
