FROM THE PASTOR...
It has been my experience that a lot of people claim they have a hard time memorizing scripture. I don't know about you, but I have found myself inadvertently quoting scripture a lot lately. Specifically, the first part of Psalm 13 which begins with, "How long, Lord?"

FROM THE FOOD PANTRY ... Matthew 25: 37 & 40; (37) ..."Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you...?" (40)..."I tell you the truth, whatever you did, for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."

From the Stewardship Team:
USING OUR TIME WISELY
In order to live as God-pleasing stewards, we will want to use the time that God entrusts to us wisely. We can start by asking the question: "Lord, what can I do with my time that will please you and give you the glory you deserve?" First and foremost, God wants us to spend our time in serving and glorifying him. In speaking to the Corinthians, the Apostle Paul wrote, "So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God" (1 Cor. 10:31). We can give God glory by dedicating our daily tasks to him. Our hands and feet can be doing routine and mundane things, but our hearts and minds can be focused on the Lord. To the Colossians Paul wrote, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men" (Col.3:23). In all that we do, God is to be part of our activities. By wisely using our time to the glory and honor of God, we can live this life abundantly!
Thank you from the Stewardship Team to all for your faithful giving of tithes, offerings and for your prayers for NJUMC during this uncertain time. If you are able, and you would like to give to the church and its ministries, here are the following ways:
1. Mail your offering to NJUMC, 210 W. Central Ave., North Judson, IN 46366
2. Give Online by going to our website www.njumc.com. On the "Home" page scroll to the bottom for instructions. Or go to the "Ways to Give" page.
3. Text NJUMC to 73256.

LITTLE LIGHTS PRESCHOOL
Normally I would be inviting all of you to our
Preschool Graduation Program, but sadly that is not happening this year. This is the first time in 26 years that we won't be having it. The Governor of Indiana, closed all schools for the rest of the school year, so we have not had any preschool classes since March 10
th
.
I put together Educational packets that included worksheets,
activities, and crafts. I will be mailing new materials for the
preschoolers to complete at home that will take them through
the end of the school year. I have also been making a daily
video that includes their Bible story, counting together, etc. that
I post on a private Facebook group page.
I would like to give special attention to the following
students who will be attending kindergarten in August:
Aubree Allen, Branson Allen, Elijah Boisvert, Elliot Boisvert,
Charlotte Coldiron, Ashteyn Holt, Hudson Lubawy,
Auggie Miller, and Zander Rotering.
Congratulations to all of our "Little Lights"!
Remember God loves you and so do we!
