With book sales temporarily suspended and the Friends Corner gift shop closed, monetary donations are more important than ever. Donations start at just $10.

Need a book? Stop by Lexington Main!
While the library is closed to the community due to COVID-19, these books are free. Please take just one or two and hold all donations until further notice. We will let you know when it's safe to bring them. The carts are outside the front of the Lexington Main Library. Demand is high so check back if you don't find one you like.

Lexington County Public Library is temporarily closed to public access; however, the staff is working to provide the community with the best virtual services. You can obtain a temporary library card through the library website to access eBooks, videos, audiobooks, databases and more. You can also visit our website to access community information and resources regarding COVID-19.
