Postponed | 2020 Tri-State Piano Concerto Competition

The 2020 Tri-State Piano Concerto Competition which was scheduled for May 2020 has been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Tentatively, the event will be held in October 2020. The Winners Concert may be presented live with no audience if large crowds remain a public health risk. Students who are currently in a particular division will remain in that division regardless of grade in school in the Fall. Students in the Senior Division who are in the 12th-grade may compete by video submission in June 2020 for the award but will be ineligible to perform on the Winners Concert in October. Please contact Jessica Madsen at  [email protected]  for further information. Website coming soon with updates!

MTNA Membership Renewals
For those who are able, MTNA encourages you to renew promptly. However, recognizing that the COVID-19 pandemic has taken a heavy toll on music teachers and their income, the MTNA Board of Directors has voted to extend the due date for this year's 2020–21 membership renewals. The traditional due date has been July 1. The Board, under its authority from Article III Section 3 of the MTNA Bylaws, has extended this year's due date until  September 1 .
