Seniors Celebrations
#ResSenior2020

We are excited to keep celebrating our seniors!
Yesterday, lawn signs were delivered to each member of the Class of 2020 - view some of the photos uploaded to the Senior Lawn Sign album and check back for more photos in the days ahead!

Congratulations to our seniors as they continue to make final decisions about college!
College Decision Day, traditionally celebrated on May 1st, took on a different look this year, since we were not together and some college decisions have been postponed.  View the College Decision Day slideshow  with  some members of the Class of 2020 showing off their college apparel.

We kicked-off our celebrations for the Class of 2020 when Principal Dr. Richard Piwowarski visited the homes of Valedictorian Rosemary Mullaghy and Salutatorian Shuru Wang with a surprise announcement to inform them they had been named Valedictorian and Salutatorian.
Watch the Valedictorian & Salutatorian announcement video that captures their surprise.

Senior Spotlights are being posted to Resurrection social media to celebrate each of our seniors - check them out on Facebook and Instagram and congratulate these amazing young women! Seniors, if you have not completed the Senior Survey and sent your photo to Ms. Rogers, please submit them as soon as possible so that your information can be included in the Senior Spotlights.

While ceremonies may take on a different look and feel compared to years past, and may be subject to change depending on social distancing guidelines at the time, please view the update with details about Senior Events with details. We are looking forward the following scheduled senior events!

May Crowning & Liturgy

While we may not have been able to celebrate our May Liturgy and May Crowning together in person, we invited all members of our school community to celebrate virtually. A special thanks to the McGrath Family and Fr. McCarthy for helping to make our liturgy possible and to senior Rosemary Mullaghy for performing the crowning of Mary. View additional resources on our website for Honoring Mary during the month of May, such as scripture passages, popular prayers, and activities.

During the month of May, Sr. Donna will be featuring information on her blog each day on various titles and ethnic devotions to Mary, the Mother of Jesus. She will also share the tradition and symbolism of flowers that have been used in art and gardens to teach the qualities and gifts of Mary.

Resurrection College Prep High School is blessed to have amazing educators who are masters of their craft! Our teachers have proven to be creative and flexible as we have transitioned to e-learning during the current pandemic and we appreciate all they do for the young women at Resurrection.

Thank you to all of our amazing teachers!
