Resources Regarding COVID-19
There is an increasing number of  COVID-19-related resources coming out. Here are some to highlight:


The Underserved TA Team has curated a  COVID-19 Resource Guide on the ALSO website that is tailored to Underserved grantees that include population specific resources, organizational preparedness resources, wellness resources, and information from OVW. We will continue to add more resources as they become relevant and available to us.

Put Down the Surveys: Centering Relationship Building in Learning and Evaluation

ALSO will be hosting a webinar for Underserved grantees on centering relationship building in program learning and evaluation.

During this webinar Underserved Grantees will:
  • Identify the intersections of community connectedness, critical consciousness and gathering evidence.
  • Review approaches and principles central to aid in relationship-driven learning.
  • Practice a couple of different learning activities that can foster relationships between the people online

Language Access: The Lessons that COVID-19 has Reinforced

The current COVID-19 crisis is not over yet; however, in a short time we have seen how gaps in the system for language access are exacerbated by a pandemic. Were we prepared to ensure that everyone had access to information and services in their first language? How does our language access plan monitoring help us achieve a more organized response? Through this virtual training we will share lessons learned and answer these and other questions regarding language access preparedness, responsiveness and monitoring.
