Even though we're not traveling these days, the UW Travel team is excited to share UW travel updates, and travel industry news — so when travel does return, you’ll be ready to takeoff.To receive monthly email updates about travel, sign up here!
UW System will move from a single service provider to three vendors based upon the type of service required:

  • Employee Services, including Group Air and Administrative Groups, will use Travel Incorporated based out of Duluth, GA

  • University Group Block Services (10 or more on same flight and/or hotel) will use Fox World Travel based out of Oshkosh, WI

  • NCAA Athletics (except UW-Madison) will use Short’s Travel Management based out of Waterloo, IA
Have Unused Tickets?
UW System is working on a solution to use your unsued tickets after July 1. Please stay tuned as we continue to work with our airline and travel agency vendors to determine the most seamless and cost effective solution.
Coming Soon - New Expense Types in E-reimbursement
New expense types will be available this summer. The 9 new expense types will make it easier for you to expense your travel and non travel related expenses.

New Lodging & Meal & Incidental Per Diem Calculator
A new Meal & Incidental Per Diem Calculator (lodging maximum and meal per diems) has launched. You can access the calculator from TravelWIse or within SFS. You will notice a new tile in e-reimbursement. Please refer to guidance on how to use the calculator .
New TravelWIse Website Launched
The TravelWIse site launched on March 31st! The site is no longer hosted or managed by Fox World Travel, but hosted by UW System. This will give us greater control over the content and allow us to bring you a website that is easier to navigate and find information.

Other features include:
  • Better site search functionality
  • Policies easier to navigate and find, including policy highlights section
  • Added form to request training from campus travel manager
  • New Logo
  • Added comparison tool to compare car rental costs vs. mileage

Southwest is giving Rapid Rewards Members 15,000 tier qualifying points and 10 flight credits, 25,000 Companion Pass qualifying points and 25 flight credits toward Companion Pass status.

American, Delta, United to Make Passenger Masks a Requirement
