Library News and Updates
We are excited to announce that, beginning on Tuesday,
May 5th, the library will be offering lobby pickup service.

On Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM, patrons who have been notified that their holds are ready for pickup can collect them in the front lobby. Have a book you've been itching to get your hands on while the library has been closed? Hop online and place a hold! When your holds are ready for pickup, we will call to let you know. After you've heard from us, you can come to the library to collect your items. When you arrive, be sure to give us a call to let us know you're here, and we will meet you in the lobby with your goodies!

The main library remains closed until further notice. Patrons will not be allowed inside for any reason, so please plan accordingly.

We will continue to post regular updates on our website and social media .

While You've Been Away
Your library staff has been working hard to continue serving the community during this tough time. Here's a little bit of what we've been up to! Visit our Facebook page to see more.
3D Printing PPE
Children's librarian Joshua Macias has been hard at work designing and printing personal protective gear for local healthcare workers using the library's 3D printer. So far, he has delivered 110 ear guards and 27 face shields to local hospitals.

Storytime with Sam and Pets
Children's associate Samantha Sechrest performs virtual storytimes with her lovable pets every Monday on Facebook. Teagan the bearded dragon and Stella the Australian shepherd have quickly become fan favorites. We will continue posting these storytimes every Monday throughout May, so be sure to tune in!

Ukulele Lessons with Josh
Do you want to learn how to play ukulele or to refine current your skills? We have you covered! Although the COVID-19 outbreak necessitated the suspension of our in-person ukulele classes, children's librarian Josh has been busy creating ukulele tutorial videos so students can continue to practice at home. Find them all on Facebook!

Beautifying the Library
We can't wait for you to check out our new murals! Our children's librarians have put their artistic talents to good use decorating the library's interior windows with images meant to spark our patrons' imagination and inquisitiveness.
