In recognition of April being Autism Awareness Month, the Franklin Police has a Safety Alert Form where families can make us aware of an individual that may have a disability in the home. This information can be useful in the event they wander away or have interaction with the Police. The form can be found on our website here: https://www.franklinma.gov/police-department/pages/safety-alert-form

The Department of Energy and Environmental Affairs declared a Level 2 Significant Drought in our region on April 8, 2021. Therefore, the following Water Conservation Measures are now in effect.
- One day per week outdoor watering. Outdoor watering using sprinklers or automated irrigation systems is restricted to the water user's trash day. If the user does not have Town trash service, the user should water on the same day as the nearest Town trash customer.
- Outdoor watering hours. Outdoor watering is prohibited between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
We will continue to monitor the drought conditions and, as required, will either apply additional restrictions or lift the conservation restrictions as allowed.
Thank you for your cooperation!
