New Staff & Open Positions
ACT is pleased to welcome new staff members Scott Hamilton, Financial Counselor at CAHS, and Holly Hackett, Administrative Assistant at Keep the Promise Coalition. We're also hiring for: Harm Reduction Health Educator, Accounting Specialist, and Coordinator/Community Organizer.
In-Home HIV Test Kit

Observed on May 18, HIV Vaccine Awareness Day is an opportunity to recognize the volunteers, community members, health professionals, and scientists who are working together to find a safe and effective vaccine to prevent HIV. It is also a day to educate communities about the importance of HIV vaccine research.

National Asian & Pacific Islander HIV/AIDS Awareness Day is held annually on May 19. It is a day to break the silence about HIV/AIDS in Asian and Pacific Islander communities and encourage individuals to get tested.

National Hepatitis Testing Day

Millions of Americans have chronic viral hepatitis; most of them do not know they have it. Observed on May 19, National Hepatitis Testing Day aims to shed light on this hidden epidemic by raising awareness of viral hepatitis and encouraging priority populations to get tested.
Advancing CT Together (ACT) is an umbrella agency that encompasses three divisions: AIDS CT, The CT Association for Human Services, and The CT Center for Harm Reduction. Our collective impact strengthens and broadens the range of services provided to families throughout Connecticut.
