ISP MONTHLY NEWSLETTER

The #1 Resource for International Students at SRJC

We really miss having you on campus but at ISP we also care about your safety and health. In the meantime, we send out ISP masks to all of our current international students. This is a little wrap up of our #srjcisptogether campaign. Feel free to send us a picture of you in your ISP mask! #srjcisptogether
Is your Form I-20 expiring soon? Take action now! You have several options: request a program extension, transfer to another school, or apply for OPT. After your I-20 expires, you will receive a 60-day grace period to depart the U.S. Contact the International Student Advisor if you have any questions. And don’t forget to apply for your Certificate or apply for your Degree if you are graduating from SRJC this semester!
ISP wants to hear about your virtual learning experience at SRJC. What did you like about online instruction? What was especially difficult this semester? What could we do differently in Fall 2021? Please take 1-2 minutes to complete our anonymous COVID-19 ISP Feedback Form and help us help you!
The summer class schedule of classes is now available! Check out the
Priority Registration Schedule or check your Student Portal to see when you can register for classes to graduate on time! Remember that the counseling center is there to help you.
Do you have any relatives who are interested in taking classes at the JC? The International Student Program is now accepting applicants for the upcoming semester. Check out our Covid-19 FAQs about international student regulations and don't hesitate to contact us if you, your family member or friend have any question.
Due to the ongoing pandemic in our local community, SRJC plans to hold its annual 102nd Commencement ceremony as a virtual celebration on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 9:00 AM. It is more important than ever to celebrate the accomplishments of our dedicated students. Don't hesitate to drive through and say goodbye to Becky!
