On Tuesday, April 27, 2021, KNN colleagues and individuals from beyond the founding member schools convened to explore how pathways to flourishing can help health professions learners, practitioners and organizations find strength and resilience during crisis.

Contest Winner
Medical students at three KNN founding members—Dell Medical School, the Medical College of Wisconsin and the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health—participated in an essay contest, "Finding Inspiration: Character Exemplars." 

This contest prompted students to reflect on the definition of character and a character exemplar.

Congratulations to Hannah Sherfinski for winning the essay contest at UWSMPH!

The AAMC-supported open-access journal MedEdPORTAL is seeking applications and submissions in a number of areas, including for:

AMA Seeks Applications for Accelerating Change in Medical Education Innovation Grant Program

The AMA is now seeking applications for its Accelerating Change in Medical Education Innovation Grant program.

This program offers $30,000 grants to accelerate the pace of medical education transformation. The program is prioritizing applications in the areas of:

  • Health systems science
  • Coaching to support competency development
  • Transitions throughout medical education
  • "The master adaptive learner"
  • Improving diversity
