Daniel "Danny" Hipps
Danny Hipps has served on the United Way of Lincoln County Board of Directors since July 2018. Prior to his service to United Way, Danny was very involved in community service, through his position with Duke Energy at McGuire Nuclear Plant, and continues to give back to his community to this day!
Mr. Hipps serves the Allocations Committee of the United Way of Lincoln County and is always involved with the Christmas Gala each year. Danny has served many years as the United Way Champion for Duke Energy organizing and implementing their internal campaign. For several years, Danny and his teammates at Duke Energy have supported families in need and arranged for several families to stay at the Great Wolfe Lodge to celebrate Christmas. Additionally, he helped to create a Community Video which was produced by Helms Production. Click here to view the “Welcome to Lincoln County” Community Video, and hear Danny speaking about Duke Energy’s involvement in community giving and hear the dedication of this endeavor in his words. Additionally, Danny serves as a volunteer for the Maiden Fire Department and enjoys helping others. The United Way of Lincoln County is blessed to have you serve on our board.

Thank you, Danny, for all of your hard work and dedication to the United Way of Lincoln County and your community!
