NEW: LAB EXPORT & ONLINE LAB RESULTS OPTIONS

The CSA office is now able to forward electronic lab results in a digital (.csv file) format. This means that at a glance you can view parentage results, excluded parentage results & genetic condition results all in one convenient file.

  • There is also a very useful option that has been added to the Online system. It can be found under – My Herd | My Lab | My Lab Test Results
  • It allows the online user to Print the “Lab Result Summary” sheets for their records. *** Note: The CSA office no longer prints/mails them to our Online members. If by chance you do not have access to a printer, please contact one of the Registry staff and we will be happy to assist you.
  • This new feature also allows you to view results as soon as they arrive electronically from the Lab and indicates the qualifying Sire (&/or Dam). The sort order can be changed by clicking on the desired column header. The most useful and convenient is sorting by the Received column. That way you see the results that arrived most recently.

Note: For your convenience, click here for the Genetic Test Results “key” for your reference.
BREED IMPROVEMENT
NEW EPD AVAILABLE ONLINE

Members who are users of the online system, now have access to Docility, Post Weaning Gain and Yield Grade EPD on their cattle.
Docility is calculated using breeder submitted docility scores and a higher EPD value indicates animals that are more likely to have offspring that score 1 or 2 (quiet) on the docility scoring scale.
Post Weaning Gain EPD predicts the daily rate of growth of offspring post-weaning. A larger value indicates a higher average daily gain.
Yield Grade EPD indicates the likelihood of offspring receiving a yield grade score of 1 or 2. Yield grade 1 and 2 are higher yielding carcasses. A lower EPD indicates cattle that are likely to have more yield or a lower yield grade score (more 1 and 2).
