New Facebook Features SCORE National is Testing
We are currently testing out two NEW strategies on the SCORE National Facebook Page. We covered the details of these tests on the webinar, but here's a brief overview:
Volunteer Opportunities: We have created six different types of volunteer opportunity listings – business mentor, workshop presenter, subject matter experts, etc. – that will live on our page for users to have visibility to what types of volunteers we typically look for and how to apply if they are interested. These six were posted on Friday, May 6 to kick off this initiative, and we instantly had interested candidates begin to engage!
Facebook Classes: In order to utilize Facebook-specific tools to promote our national webinars, we are testing the Facebook Classes feature. During the testing period, you will see us create individual Facebook Classes for each national webinar we are hosting in June. These will be very similar to Events but unlock additional tools such as fields for prerequisites, recurring classes in a series and more! Feel free to share the classes to help us spread the word.
Interested in learning more about these projects and other improvements we are planning? Join us next month for updates!
