It's Spring - well some days! It's cheery to see some little flowers blooming. In the next couple of weeks, I'm looking forward to the lilacs and lily-of-the-valley, two of my favorites. Yard work now takes up some of each day, and my knitting has to wait until later. 

It's almost time to plan some vacation and porch knitting! Blanket squares? Lightweight sweaters? Maybe some early holiday gift knitting??

There are many variations of granny squares, including multi-color and single color. Depending on the yarn you use, you can create a variety of effects, from retro to modern.
