Suicide is a leading cause of death in Autistic people. These individuals have significantly higher rates of suicidal thoughts, behaviors, and deaths by suicide than neurotypical individuals.
988 has been designated as the new three-digit dialing code that will route callers to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. This dialing code will be available to everyone across the United States starting on July 16, 2022. Learn more about 988 here.

Mesa Police Department Mental Health Fair

Join the Mesa Police Department to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month and end stigma through knowledge. Dozens of local behavioral health providers, including ASGP, will be available with resources. There will be education break-out sessions. The Mesa Police Department Mental Health Support Team and other City of Mesa Department departments will be available to answer questions about behavioral health initiatives.
