Cosmology of Light Newsletter

Hello Friends,

This issue focuses on the Inevitable Convergence of arbitrarily separated fields of knowledge. For all knowledge is one and it is only our fragmentary point of view that divides it. In its oneness, it is complete, knows itself, and can create out of itself. Being so it becomes self-luminous and of the nature of Light.

By corollary, if we deliberately allow ourselves to see the same thing differently, then embedded points of view can crumble, and in that release we may enter into the nature of Light.  This is one way in which we may come to know something more completely.

So here I draw attention to different lenses - artistic, religious, architectural, amongst others - to begin to see the same thing differently, and the lens of mathematics, to begin to see the commonality in different things.

It is inevitable that such convergence of sight is what will push knowledge forward, be it grappling with the nature of the quantum realm, or the possibilities of computation, amongst numerous other areas. I would even venture to say that luminaries regardless of field - whether Benjamin Franklin,  Einstein, Tesla, Schrodinger, or Elon Musk - to name a few, would not have reached such insight without it.

Best Wishes,

Pravir

Convergence of Cosmology, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Anthropology, Psychology, Sociology in Light

I share a recent talk that has to do with the convergence of many fields in light: The Musings on Light, based on a book by the same name.  Note, that this book has been written at the end of a journey. This journey involved a mathematical articulation of the power in light summarized in ten books across two Cosmology of Light book series. Musings on Light is a simplified non-mathematical summary of many of the key concepts that are contained in the ten Cosmology of Light books.

Cosmology of Light is intended to be a unified theory of existence from the point of view of light. Hence, it ties together possibility that exists in the native state of light where it is imagined to exist infinitely fast, to the process of multiple quantizations by which light projects itself in layers mirroring symmetrical fourfold realities, to the emergence of space-time-energy-gravity as a cosmic container at the time of the big bang, to the emergence of matter and life in layers of quantum particles, atoms, and cells, to the emergence of humans and culture and civilizations, so that cosmology, physics, chemistry, biology, anthropology, psychology, and sociology are all seen as faces of the one body of Light, always behind, immanent in all, and of which all are only richer and richer expressions.

The Lens of Mathematics to See Commonality in Science, Complex Systems, Organizatioanl Design, Architecture, Art

I am glad to note the release of a multi-disciplinary book The Illustrated Oceans of Innovation: The Mathematical Heart of Complex Systems Depicted in Indian Arts where there is convergence of science, mathematics, complex adaptive systems, and organizational design, with Indian arts, sculpture, architecture, and temples. As the illustrator of the book, Dr. Narendra Joshi notes, "readers will get something fascinating from it...the most complex mathematics and thought turn out to be the most beautiful and bewildering poetry and music frozen in our great temples' stone architecture and sculpture."

Note that mathematics in the earlier non-illustrated version of the book was leveraged in the subsequent Cosmology of Light books, and in numerous IEEE technical papers ranging from the nature of quanta, quantum computation, genetics, artificial intelligence, the origin and development of the cosmos, and most recently to envisioning a new genre of nano-cyborgs.

Religion in the Human Cell

A couple of weeks ago I was asked to speak on a panel to do with Religion and Conflict. This surprised me since I am not actively involved in either field. But I decided to engage in the challenge and prepared a 20-minute talk.

This talk proposed a model for the structure of stability, the structure of conflict, the structure of religion, and the structure of spirituality, centered around love, and applied this to the dynamics in the human cell to envision the creation of different cell-based religions centered around the functioning of different molecular plans.  Such convergence was possible due to the underlying foundation that had already been worked out through numerous Cosmology of Light writings.
