Mid-Columbia Economic Development District is working with local and partners to support the Faster Internet Oregon speed test campaign to better define gaps in broadband access in our bi-state region so that we can support all of our residents and businesses getting access to fast and affordable broadband needed today. While this partnership is based in Oregon, MCEDD is also collaborating with Washington to ensure that any data provided from our region will support Washington mapping efforts as well. This campaign will help clarify gaps in high-speed Internet service. The data provided will ensure that projects are designed based on an accurate assessment of gaps in connectivity across communities.
Your response will help community leaders identify the best strategies to address broadband access challenges in our area and help prepare us for funding opportunities from the States or Federal agencies.
If you have five minutes to give us more information on broadband needs in our area, please take
