Database and Web Changes
The PTG Home Office has transitioned to a new member management system and we have launched our new member portal. This tool will help us stay connected with you and improve your membership experience. For security reasons, your login information for the website was not imported and you will have to setup new credentials when you login to your account for the first time. If you have your sign-on information saved from the old system, you will have to go to my.ptg.org and www.ptg.org to logout before following the steps below to set up a new account.
1.    Go to www.ptg.org.
2.    Click on Sign In, in the upper right-hand corner.
3.    The system will ask you for a Username. Please type in the email address that you use for your PTG account. Then, click on the Forgot Password link at the bottom of the page.
4.    You will receive a verification code sent to that email address. Enter the code to reset your password.

Once logged in you can go to PTG Members and click on My Portal where you will be able to edit your profile, shop in the PTG Store, search the Member Directory, register for the 2022 convention, pay invoices online and more. Please remember to keep your profile updated so we can better serve you! If you have any questions, please contact us at ptg@ptg.org.

Save Money
As always, a Convention Roommate Connection community is available for those interested in sharing rooms. Check out the Convention Rideshare Connection community if you'd like to carpool.
Traveling Playground Stations
The WisMinnia chapter recently spent a Saturday learning and honing skills and a local LaCrosse, tv station WXOW was there to record it as it happened. View it here or use the QR code.

The Piano Technicians Playground has been a popular event at PTG Annual Conventions. Now some of the stations from that event have been packaged into Traveling Playground Stations that can be used during a chapter meeting or event. Contact your RVP to schedule an opportunity for your chapter members to try out some of the Playground stations in your area.
Request for Delegate Names
The annual Council meeting will be held August 2. This is notice that all Delegate and Alternate names will be due by July 1 in order to participate in the Council meeting. To download a Delegate Registration Form, go to the Forms and Documents area of www.ptg.org.

Delegates and alternates will be allowed to attend Regional Caucus virtually this year. Please be sure to indicate on the registration form if your representative(s) will be attending in person or virtually. This only applies to the Regional Caucus meetings held during Council to elect Regional Vice Presidents and nominate committee members.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at barbara@ptg.org or call 913-276-5207.
Thank you,
Barbara Cassaday

Paper Versions of RPT Written Exam
Please destroy all test booklets, answer sheets and answer keys for the paper version of the RPT written exam. Due to the nature of the test, it would not be appropriate to use the paper versions as study material.
  • For study materials please visit www.ptg.org/study-guide.
  • If you are a member interested in taking the exam, please get in touch with a local RPT who can then get the process started. The RPT sponsor should contact the Home Office (kathy@ptg.org) or the ETSC Written Exam Subcommittee (Robert Guenther, r.guenther.rpt@gmail.com or Greg Cheng, gchengrpt@gmail.com) to set up an exam and receive instructions for the examiner and examinee.
  • Please be aware that the paper version of the exam is no longer valid.
