Be sure to check out some of the great benefits of PTG membership. To all members, check out the list of new members in each month's Journal and see who's new in your area.
Updating Your PTG Website Login Info
The PTG Home Office has transitioned to a new member management system and we have launched our new member portal. This tool will help us stay connected with you and improve your membership experience. For security reasons, your login information for the website was not imported and you will have to setup new credentials when you login to your account for the first time. If you have your sign-on information saved from the old system, you will have to go to my.ptg.org and www.ptg.org to logout before following the steps below to set up a new account.
  1. Go to www.ptg.org.
  2. Click on Sign In, in the upper right-hand corner.
  3. The system will ask you for a Username. Please type in the email address that you use for your PTG account. Then, click on the Forgot Password link at the bottom of the page.
  4. You will receive a verification code sent to that email address. Enter the code to reset your password.

Once logged in you can go to PTG Members and click on My Portal where you will be able to edit your profile, shop in the PTG Store, search the Member Directory, register for the 2022 convention, pay invoices online and more. Please remember to keep your profile updated so we can better serve you! If you have any questions, please contact us at [email protected].

New Online Journal Search Now Live
We’re proud to debut the new online version of the PTJ article search. You may search for an article by using key words that seem likely as well as the author and/or title. Type in search terms, hit return or click on the magnifying class icon, and all records that include the search term(s) will appear. This index of the Piano Technicians Journal from 1979-present was under the aegis of the PTG Education Committee. Our thanks to project coordinator Jason Kanter and the many volunteers who contributed to the index. Find it at www.ptg.org/members/journal-search.

PTG Green Initiative
As adopted in 2005, the Council Book of Resolutions states, "Home Office and PTG membership shall be environmentally aware." Over the last year, the HO has been working towards eliminating the printing and mailing of such things as newsletters, supplements, invoices, and monthly statements. Please update your profile online or contact the HO if we do not have your current contact information. Click on Public Profile under your Contact Details to update your information.
