OMNI Community Credit Union makes generous donation to Bronson Children's Hospital
Now in its fifth year, OMNI’s Give Back auto loan program pledges $15 for each auto loan funded during the year. Members who take out auto loans help choose which non-profits receive the donations. We are grateful that Bronson Children’s Hospital was the recipient of the largest amount, totaling $29,061.

“Bronson Children’s Hospital is always a member favorite for our Give Back program,” commented OMNI CEO Ted Parsons. “We’re very pleased to be able to support this organization and the staff who provides an amazing level of compassionate healthcare to children.” Thank you, OMNI!

Family Honors Child Through Giving
The Frantz Family
On April 6, 2022, Meghan and Ryan Frantz honored the memory of their son, Kohen Allen Frantz, on what would have been his first birthday, by providing a generous donation to support families. Kohen was stillborn just one day before reaching 31 weeks in Meghan’s pregnancy. “When we came into the hospital last April to deliver” Meghan shares, “we were given a bear that has become a very special and meaningful part of our family over the past year. We would like to make sure that other families that have similar experiences to ours have that comfort provided to them as well.”

In honor of their son, Meghan and Ryan along with their one-month-old daughter donated 82 stuffed bears and 75 copies of "Guess How Much I Love You" books for families who experience a fetal or infant loss at Bronson Methodist Hospital’s Labor & Delivery unit. Each book comes with a note of support from Meghan and Ryan along with a stamp of Kohen’s handprint. We are grateful to the Frantz family for sharing their story with us and providing comfort to other families during an extremely difficult time.
Bronson Children's Hospital Run & Walk Registration Now Open
Registration is now underway for our 2022 event! We are planning to host the event IN-PERSON at our NEW event site on the corner of Jasper and Lovell Streets in downtown Kalamazoo!
 
Among the many services supported by the Run & Walk are child life, and art and music therapy. These life-enhancing programs help relieve fear and anxiety to help children cope with the difficult emotions that can come along with being in the hospital.

Cancer Care Spring Fling is Approaching!
The Cancer Care Spring Fling will be held on Thursday, June 9 at the Battle Creek Country Club from 6-10 p.m. The event raises funds to support patients and their families who receive treatment at the Bronson Cancer Center in Battle Creek.

The impact of this event is elevated thanks to the our presenting sponsors, Battle Creek Community Foundation, Bronson Battle Creek Hospital Community Partners, Knight Watch, and Sunshine Toyota. We are grateful for the continued support from these generous community partners.
