GardenShare's Annual Fundraising Dinner
Join us on Wednesday, June 8th, 2022 for GardenShare’s Annual Fundraising Dinner at 1844 House. Proceeds from the dinner support GardenShare’s work to make healthy, sustainable food choices accessible to everyone in our community. Tickets are $85 per person. Cocktails will be from 5:30 to 6:30 with accompanying music by Doug Rubio, and dinner will begin at 6:30pm.

We'd like to thank the amazing college students who spent time this semester lending a helping hand towards GardenShare.

In clockwise order, Landon Urzetta is a senior at St. Lawrence University from Victor, NY, double majoring in Environmental Studies and Biology.
Will Hauf is a first year at St. Lawrence University from Richmond, Vermont, planning on majoring in Economics.
Filip Bruna is a first year at St. Lawrence University from the Czech Republic, Prague, planning on majoring in Economics.
Emily Hinkell is a senior at SUNY Potsdam from Albany, NY, majoring in Community Health.
GardenShare wishes Landon and Emily congratulations and best of luck in the next chapter of their journey, and a big thanks to Will and Filip for spending their semester with us!
What's in season?
It's May, which means that the last frost date is coming soon and rhubarb is finally in season! This month, greens like spinach, asparagus, and sorrel are ready for picking. Look out for fiddleheads, dandelion greens, chives, and green onions in your gardens.

Farmers Markets Begin!
May marks the beginning of the farmers market season! Potsdam Farmers Market will be starting its season on Saturday, May 14th - with the pavilion grant ceremony happening the same day. Canton Farmers Market will start its season on Friday, May 27th, however there will be a one day plant sale on Friday, May 20th.
