Note from the President
Greetings -

On Saturday, April 23rd I had the unique honor of hosting 5 branch honors recitals in one day. I am sure many of you have had this experience in past years volunteering for our branch. It was a taxing day; I nearly dozed off during the 5th recital. At the end of all this, the one thing I desired was silence.

Despite the challenge of organizing and hosting these branch events, there are many positives to reflect on. The honors recital performers were excellent and our audience numbers were good. Any teacher who attended one of our 5 honors recitals in Hayward or one of the several others we presented in Castro Valley that weekend would give a similar report. The teachers and students of our branch continue to achieve great things.

If you still have not joined us for any of our events during the 2021-22 school year, you have two more opportunities. We host our long-planned Beatles concert on Saturday, May 7th. Then on Friday, May 13th is our annual scholarship recital and luncheon. As always, we invite you to join us as we continue the work of elevating our students and our vocation.

All the best,
Jesse Micek
