Community Engagement
Earlier this month, the HDFCCC Office of Community Engagement (OCE) attended the 2023 May Day Pacific Islander Festival in Hayward to raise awareness for colorectal cancer with over 500 visitors to the inflatable colon display.

On May 20, the OCE will co-sponsor two community events: Soul Stroll Outside, held at San Mateo High School, and Walking to Live, a cancer survivor celebration and tobacco awareness walk held in Oakland.

This is an opportunity to showcase the health services research being done across UCSF and to engage with senior health policy leaders and experts from around the country.
