Stage 9 Tour De Consult Stage 9 March 2023 Overall 228 consults; 131 ER, 78 Inpatient, 19 OR, average per day 7.4, overall average 9.1 UMHS 217, VA 11 Only 6 attendings achieved 100% inpatient staffing Individual Renee Cole won the stage with 64. Alex Zhu was 2nd with 60. Danny Triner was 3rd with 44. Apoorv Dhir, Parth Partel and Jake Claflin tallied in double digits. Cathy Nam scored 8, Chanan Reitblat had 4 and Anna Faris had 2 and a baby. Mahir Maruf had 1. Danny Triner retakes the overall lead from Jake Claflin. Both had crossed the Triple Century Club. It is looking a race between Danny, Jake, Apoorv with Shavano, Parth and Brandee playing spoilers. So far ALL of the chiefs have scored ZERO consults all year. Can they hold on? Blackest Cloud was won by Renee Cole with 10 on Mar. 30, 2023. No one achieved a Triple Crown. Team The Yellow Submariners won the team stage. The Screaming Seamen was second. The One-Eyed Willies were third. The Manatees and Terrible Tugs were last. They are now on the verge of being MATHEMATICALLY ELIMINATED. Like being technically correct (the best type of correctness according to Futurama) being mathematically eliminated is the best type of elimination. Petit Tour Renee Cole won the Petit Tour stage easily crushing the others. But with the stage point system collapsing run away victories, Parth Patel and Chanan Reitblat took 2nd and 3rd. Brandee Branche remains in the overall lead. Her lead may be clouded by her recent lead in the ultra-late category being tracked behind the scenes.
The Tour is now in the final stretch – April, May and June. Brandee and Parth are locked into a tight race for the Petit Tour. Danny, Jake and Apoorv look like the ones to beat in the Individual race. Three teams remain in serious contention in the team race. |
