The Rural Fire Protection (RFP) program within the Arkansas Department of Agriculture’s Forestry Division is dedicated to assisting communities and fire departments in protecting lives, property, and the environment.

Spotlight

McNeil Fire Department in Columbia County received a 2WD freightliner tanker. They also received a $10,000 grant to help cover the cost of the freightliner from the Refurbishment Grant now offered by Rural Fire Protection.

Crawford County Fire District #7 received a War Eagle boat to be converted into a fire boat.
