Our 2023 Legacy Gala was a fantastic evening of community outreach that was astounding! I am humbled and amazed every year as the community hears and answers our request to make a difference in the lives of our students and adults. Congratulations to Drs. Tom Bell and Natalie Parisi Bell, the recipients of our Halo Award, and to Turie Sotzin for receiving our Peggy’s Legacy of Faith Award. We are so blessed to have such a supportive community that believes in and lives our mission.
Thank you to our Advancement Office team of Melissah, Kirsten, and Elena, who work tirelessly so the best programming can be provided to our students and adults.
A big thank you to the Gala and Development committees for their dedication to year-round planning, coordinating, and collecting auction items for the Gala. We have a great team who spend countless hours of their personal time for the benefit of our center.
A shout out to Alvernia students for coordinating our Prom this year themed An Enchanted Forest. The decorations were beautiful, the food was delicious, and the music kept everyone on their feet. Our students, adults and alumna had the best time. We all look forward to Prom each year!
One of the most beautiful and grace filled months is May when we honor the blessed mother. Our Mass and May crowning paid homage to the Mother of Christ, and the one who always said “yes” to God. If only we could be more like Mary and our love for God be unending!
