FAQ's: Changes to our Office Structure:

Why has Youth Ministry moved under the Discipleship & Evangelization Mission Team?

Providing encounter and conversion opportunities for youth in a spirit of collaboration with parishes will continue to be an emphasis, but now through the lens of evangelization.

How has Tommy Nelson's position in the Curia changed? In addition to be physically relocated in the Discipleship & Evangelization section of Bona Hall, his position will also become a connecting point for apostolate ministries serving youth throughout the Diocese such as CYE, SPIRITUS, and TEC, as well as continuing to organize and collaborate on Diocesan Steubenville trips, Love Begins Here mission program and other Diocesan Youth gatherings, such as the Bl. Carlo Acutis Day for Youth in August.

How has Maximus Cabey's position in the Curia changed? Maximus has assumed the role of Officer of The Office of Apostolates, Spiritual Renewal & Ecumenical Outreach (a new office within the curia). He will continue to serve as the Director of Religious Education until that position is filled. His office is still located on the 2nd floor of Bona Hall.

How has the role of Religious Education Office changed? The Office of Religious Education is now part of the new Parish & Family Life Mission Team which includes the Offices of Divine Worship; Parish Operations; Marriage & Family Life; and Apostolates, Spiritual Renewal & Ecumenical Outreach. The Mission Team has as its interim director, Gerard Hall ([email protected] or 920-272-8311).

In these ways, it hasn't changed: The RE Office will continue to host professional development events, communicate Diocesan news and other events and resources to the field, oversee catechetical certification, and support and encourage catechetical leaders in the field by addressing their questions and requests for guidance and support. We will continue to work with the Youth Ministry Office when our projects overlap. The RE phone numbers and e-mail addresses as well as physical location remains the same.

Thank you for your support and prayers as we position ourselves to better serve our mission to foster households and communities of discipleship. Please feel free to call on any of us if you have questions or concerns.

Did You Miss Hebrews 10:25 on April 20th?

It was a great day of prayer, fellowship and a bit of formation, all in relationship to Bishop's Five Alive practices of Lectio Divina, Rosary, Mass, Confession and Adoration.

But, if you weren't able to join us, you still have access to the printed resources that were available.

"We should not stay away from our assembly, as is the custom of some, but encourage one another, and this all the more as you see the day drawing near." Hebrews 10:25
