Recipe of the Month:
Next time you fire up the grill, add some portabella mushrooms. They can also be made on the stove top in less than 10 minutes. The high heat process of grilling meat creates potentially dangerous compounds including heterocyclic amines (HCAs), but little to no HCAs are formed when grilling plant foods like mushrooms. For a delicious topping, whip up a batch of chimichurri, or try this avocado chimichurri for a creamy twist.
