We Saved Little Qualicum River!
It’s official – We have saved 36 acres of vulnerable salmon habitat on the banks of the Little Qualicum River.
Thanks to your generous support, we have reached our goal of raising over $2 million to secure the Little Qualicum River project!
This project marks the critical beginning of a conservation complex in the largely unprotected Coastal Douglas Fir moist maritime biogeoclimatic sub-zone, and we couldn’t have taken this big step without you.
With your support, we can now take direct action to protect the salmon spawning cycle that has continued for several thousands of years in the Little Qualicum River.
