Chi Capital Accelerator: 

Empowering Black & Brown Business Excellence


To address the access to capital gap and promote equitable economic development, World Business Chicago, the Mayor's Office, and other key partners designed this multi-phased program to connect minority business owners to technical assistance, funding opportunities, and valuable resources to help them scale their operations.


The 12-week program, beginning June 2024, is designed to prepare Black and Latino-owned businesses primed for growth to the capital necessary to take the next step to grow their business. The application is open and accepting submissions until Monday, May 20th, 2024! (note: website has not been updated, but the submission date has been extended)

 

Who can apply? 

At least two years in business - Minimum $200,000 gross revenue annually - Identified development project/goal(s) that require capital investment - Open to all industries

City Colleges of Chicago (CCC) needs companies, both large and small, to provide goods and services to its seven colleges and seven vocational/technical centers, which serve more than 80,000 students annually. Provisioning includes but is not limited to, books, printing services, computer equipment, furniture, office equipment and supplies, and a variety of construction and professional services.
