Read below to learn a little bit more about our 2024 Scholarship Recipients:
"This fall I plan to attend Cal Poly SLO and major in Ag Business. During my time at Cal Poly I plan to stay involved in their ag department by becoming a part of various clubs that will allow me to continue advocating for the agriculture industry. In addition I would like to become a part of an intern program that will allow me with the opportunity to keep educating myself on the industry. I’m exited for this new chapter of my life and can’t wait to spend the next four years in San Luis Obispo."
Enrique Lopez
"I am planning on attending the University of Nevada, Reno in the fall and majoring in speech language pathology and audiology. I also plan on going to graduate school after completing my bachelors degree."
Jessica Sanders
"I will be attending Cuesta College, to earn my Associates degree in Architectural Technology. After that, I plan to transfer to a university, to complete my Bachelors Degree, specializing in Residential Architecture. Eventually, I would like to own my own architecture firm."
Luke Guignard
"This fall I plan on attending Oklahoma State University Honors College as an Agribusiness Pre-Law major. I hope to explore various internships and opportunities in Oklahoma to hopefully narrow down my future career, but as of now my goal is to become an agricultural lawyer with an emphasis in water law."
Jenna Sanders
"I applied to Cornell, Case Western Reserve, and Columbia University. I will be attending Columbia in the fall to study biomedical engineering and work on genetic technologies!"
Kathrine Brown
"In the fall I will be attending Oklahoma State University where I will be majoring in Ag Communications and minoring in Animal Science. While I do not have a specific career in mind, I do know for certain that I want to pursue a job in the ag industry. Ag Communications is a very broad major that will allow me to explore many options. Because of my passion for ag and desire to educate others about it, I believe Ag Communications is a major that will allow me to do just that."
McKenzie Hoekstra
"I will be attending Stanislaus State University, majoring in liberal studies. I want to become a kindergarten teacher."
