BE INSPIRED BY ARCHBISHOP HOSAM NAOUM'S MOVING SERMON AT CHRIST CHURCH GREENWICH

On a visit with AFEDJ in mid-April, Anglican Archbishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem, The Most Rev. Hosam Naoum, delivered a stirring sermon at Christ Church Greenwich.

In a powerful reminder of our shared responsibility for the well-being of all in the Holy Land, the Archbishop urged us to unite our prayers for peace across faiths.

"My friends, I ask you to continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, and for the people of the Holy Land; not only Christians, but also Jews and Muslims, and everyone who lives there," he urged, reminding us of our shared humanity. "Quite often we tend to divide them by our prayers or actions. But, as children of God, we ought to pray for the well-being of the whole of the Holy Land; otherwise, the word 'peace' doesn't mean peace."

At a time when the Holy Land is so heavily ravaged by war and division, the Archbishop's call emerges to recalibrate our hearts and reorient ourselves toward a future where wholeness, togetherness, and unity triumph over dissension.

HEROIC, DISPLACED AHLI HOSPITAL STAFF ESTABLISH DESPERATELY-NEEDED OUTREACH CLINIC IN RAFAH

The remarkable resilience and compassion of Ahli Hospital's dedicated medical team shine brightly as they establish an outreach clinic in Rafah, a city now sheltering 1.4 million Gazans displaced by the ongoing conflict. Amidst the overwhelming challenges of inadequate infrastructure and services, this clinic will offer vital medical care to thousands. From essential OB-GYN care to pharmacy services, the clinic embodies Ahli's unwavering commitment to hope and healing. Join us in supporting this critical endeavor by making a donation to AFEDJ and helping to empower the whole Ahli team to continue their life-saving work. CURRENT UPDATES

AFEDJ is aware of the evolving situation in Rafah, and is closely monitoring the situation in Gaza and the Middle East. As more individuals migrate to central Rafah due to ongoing evacuations from the eastern area of the city, Ahli's outreach clinic anticipates an extreme surge in patients.
