On May 16, the El Camino College Foundation recognized many of our scholarship recipients at the annual Scholarship Awards Dinner. This fall, we will award over 600 students with nearly $900,000 in scholarships for the 2024-2025 academic year. This meaningful event provided an opportunity for our scholarship recipients to meet their generous donors. Scholarships through the ECC Foundation provide funding for books, supplies, technology, and transportation for our students.
Congratulations to all scholarship recipients and thank you for the kindness of our scholarship donors! You are all the reason we do what we do at the Foundation!

El Camino has a history of students qualifying for the award, with current semifinalists Frankee Granados, Pintack Gualotuna, Kennedy Hayashi, and Emily Hidalgo carrying on the tradition.
This year, the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation named 459 community college students as semifinalists, chosen from a pool of more than 1,600 applicants attending 194 community colleges. Each scholarship award is designed to cover the majority of the student’s costs to earn a bachelor’s degree, including tuition, living expenses, books and fees, as well as transfer and career advisement services.
