We will herald the Class of 1975 on its 50th Vanguard Reunion, and Reunion Milestone Classes ending in 0s and 5s, at the time honored Processional in Voorhees Chapel. We will celebrate our AADC Awards recipients, enjoy activities ranging from our popular Champagne Jazz Brunch, to the "Taste of the Mediterranean Cooking Demonstration," to the George Street Playhouse "Bringing the Arts," and much more! Join in honoring this year's AADC Alumnae Awards recipients during AADC Alumnae Reunion Weekend 2025. The Vanguard Service Award will be presented on Friday, June 6, at the Vanguard Luncheon and all other awards will be presented on Saturday, June 7, at Reunion Convocation in Voorhees Chapel from 10:00-11:00 am. The Champagne Jazz Brunch follows at 11:30 am in Trayes Hall at the Douglass Student Center. Join us in congratulating this year's recipients and celebrating at Reunion!

Welcome to Our Newest Douglass Alumnae - Class of 2025


AADC leaders and staff welcomed our newest alumnae, the Class of 2025, with a special AADC Proud Douglass Alumna T-Shirt giveaway at the Douglass Student Center on May 14. We also offered some sweet treats and a few AADC branded rain ponchos on a wet day on campus! Congratulations '25! We look forward to continuing to connect!

Financial Support Available for Post Graduate Studies

Apply for AADC Alumnae Fellowships for Graduating Seniors


The Associate Alumnae of Douglass College awards fellowships annually for post graduate study to graduating DRC seniors and/or alumnae. Recipients are selected primarily on the basis of academic achievement or aspirations in chosen field of study, and secondarily, on need. The application deadline is June 2, 2025 for graduating seniors. Note that the deadline for alumnae to apply was March 1, 2025.

Alumnae and friends are invited to join us for the AADC Pride Network's latest virtual program. Our presenter's expertise includes civil rights and civil liberties, constitutional law, and teaches Legal Analysis, Writing and Research, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and the Law, Professional Responsibility at Rutgers School of Law, Camden. The Pride Network promotes networking, support and celebration among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer-identified and allied alumnae. Registration will be available soon.

Inez Phillips Durham ’57, Ph.D. is Honored by the City of Plainfield


Congratulations to Inez P. Durham ’57, Ph.D., who was honored this spring by the City of Plainfield, which named the tennis courts at the Milt Campbell Field in her honor. A lifelong and championship tennis player, Inez has been a community advocate for the sport and was lauded as a tireless volunteer. She has been a role model as a city leader, including as chair of its recreation department's tennis advisory board and as a Board of Education member.


At the naming ceremony, Inez said her dedication to tennis as a player and advocate has brought enriching “opportunities to travel, to meet people all over the world, and to develop friendships that are long-lasting.” Inez regularly participates in AADC events and programs and previously received the AADC Alumnae Recognition Award for her involvement. She was inducted into the AADC Society of Excellence in 2010 in recognition of her lifelong career as an educator, psychologist and community advocate, and for her commitment to serve and improve the lives of others.

The Alison R. Bernstein Media Mentoring Program (ARBMMP) at the Rutgers Institute for Women’s Leadership is looking for mentees for the 2025-26 year. The program connects alums in media, journalism, communications, and technology with accomplished professionals for a virtual nine-month mentorship experience.
