Hello community Partner,

I’m Laura Wargo, Director of the New Hampshire Partnership for Recovery Residences (NHPRR).

NHPRR is the only state-designated certifying body for recovery homes in New Hampshire. And only NHPRR-certified houses are eligible to be listed on the state’s Voluntary Recovery Housing Registry. I’m thrilled to be working with such an amazing team and community.

As a person in long-term recovery, I’m passionate about creating safe, supportive environments. I know firsthand how essential the right resources and connections are on the journey to recovery.

I look forward to connecting with all of you as we work together to make a meaningful difference. Stay tuned for updates, events, and ways to get involved!

New Hampshire Partnership for Recovery Residences (NHPRR) in partnership with New Hampshire State Fire Marshal will be presenting education on the exemption waiver for certified recovery residences in New Hampshire.

To provide the highest standards of safe, ethical, and supportive recovery residences in New Hampshire, NHPRR standards require homes to follow all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. This webinar will teach owners/operators and community partners about fire safety and the exemption waiver requirements for recovery residences.

Meet Our Advisory Board

While NHPRR staff might be new faces to some recovery home owners, we’re proud to be judged by the outstanding company we keep — especially our seasoned Advisory Board.

Our Advisory Board promotes ethical practices, supports community acceptance, and ensures recovery residences meet the highest standards. Members help guide our mission, monitor progress, and strengthen programs across New Hampshire.

Board members have no financial interest in recovery residences, providing trusted, conflict-free leadership that supports homes and residents statewide.

In addition to Andrew Warner and Cheryle Pacapelli (pictured to the right), Josh Colwell, Keith Howard, Daisy Pierce, Shannon Swett, Jeanne Venuti, Melissa Silvey, and Ashley Lewis serve as board members.

Meet the board today!

Filing a Complaint: Your Voice Matters

Residents, families, staff, neighbors, and community partners can report concerns about certified recovery homes easily and, if preferred, anonymously. NHPRR uses a secure system called Case IQ to manage and track complaints, ensuring a thorough and respectful process.

All concerns are investigated fairly, and anonymous reporters can still receive updates and communicate with the investigation team. Reporting concerns does not risk anyone’s housing, and your information remains safe and confidential.
