Public Comment for the IHS renewal is open now, from May 19, 2025, to June 19, 2025. The attached Notice of Opportunity for Public Comment details the public comment process. The information may also be found here: https://www.dhhs.nh.gov/programs-services/disability-care/developmental-services/home-and-community-based-services-1. The State will host six public hearings during the public comment period. Three sessions will be held in person and three sessions will be held virtually. The dates, times and locations of these public hearings are listed below.

Earlier this year, DHHS requested input as BDS began the In-Home Supports Waiver renewal process. BDS held listening sessions to hear feedback, experiences, and thoughts from individuals and families who utilize services on the IHS Waiver. Sharing what has worked and what needs attention helped to inform Waiver changes in the application that will be available for formal public comment from May 19 – June 19, 2025.

The public is invited to review and comment on this draft waiver renewal.
