Important 2026 Convention Dates

Looking for a Way to Impact PTG Programs, Policies and People?

Many of the services and projects accomplished each year are done with the time, talents and work of PTG members who have volunteered to serve on a PTG committee. View a committee list. New committee elections and appointments for 2026-2027 will be made this summer at the Arlington convention. If you are interested in serving on a PTG committee or task group this coming year, contact your Regional Vice President. RVP names and contact info are listed below.

Why Volunteer to Be a Council Delegate?

As a Council Delegate, you’ll have a chance to be directly involved in PTG decision-making as you decide who will be serving on the next Board of Directors and Council-elected committees. You’ll also have an opportunity to hear from PTG leaders as they share what’s been happening in PTG over the last year and what they are working on for the next year. You'll have an opportunity to share your thoughts during the open forum and ask questions. The 2026 Council meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, July 21 at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City (Arlington, VA). Talk to your chapter about being appointed as a Council Delegate. Council Delegate Forms are due June 21. Download a Council Delegate Form, fill it out and return it to aaron@ptg.org.

New Exam Prep Resources for RPT Candidates and Examiners

Working with someone preparing for the RPT exams? Looking for resources for your own certification journey? Whether you are hoping to become a Registered Piano Technician, or train to become an Examiner, the RPT Exam Portal is the one-stop shop for all your exam-related needs! Check it out for yourself and share the link with anyone you know who can use this new resource. Look under Discover More for the RPT Exam Portal.

Chapter and Exam Grants

Thinking about organizing a chapter recruitment or exam event in your area? PTG can help offset the cost. Download a Chapter Marketing Grant application or an Exam Grant application and learn more about applying for matching grants.
