Costco is launching their annual campaign for Valley Children's today thru May 31. Recently, we had the honor of welcoming nine Central Valley Costco warehouses to Valley Children's Hospital. Together, we celebrated 35 years of Costco's incredible support, which has raised more than $9.2 million for the hospital.
Local Costco managers and associates saw firsthand the powerful impact of their fundraising efforts. They took part in an engaging musical activity led by our music therapist, Mara Baldwin, and gained insight into groundbreaking medical advancements from Dr. Jeremy Woods, Geneticist and Medical Director of the Precision Medicine Program.

During the visit, associates also met our 2025 CMN Champion, Sylus, and his mom, Sarah, who shared Sylus’s touching journey. The group toured several of our critical departments, including Cardiology, NICU and Emergency Medicine.
We proudly celebrated eight Costco warehouses that raised an incredible $706,467 in 2024 for our hospital — with three exceptional associates each raising more than $10,000!

For over three decades, Ace Hardware has remained a dedicated supporter of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, consistently demonstrating a deep commitment to enhancing the lives of children across the country. In 2024, our Central Valley Ace Hardware locations raised an incredible $118,113 for Valley Children’s Hospital, bringing their lifetime contribution since 1992 to more than $738,000.
Here are three standout achievements from this past year:

Visalia Ace Retail Support Center: Since opening in 2023, this location has raised nearly $70,000 for Valley Children’s, with more than $40,000 of that coming from 2024 efforts alone.

Strand Ace Hardware in Modesto: This store has led our fundraising efforts for the past three years, contributing nearly $62,000 during that time.

Ace Hardware of Northeast Fresno: With a generous in-kind donation worth more than $5,000, this location helped launch the “Roots of Resilience: Cultivating Life Beyond Cancer” project—providing gardening supplies to support patients on a journey of healing through gardening and nutrition.
Ace Hardware continues to be an invaluable partner in our mission to improve children's health in the Central Valley. We are incredibly grateful for their unwavering support!

We are thrilled to announce that Disney has generously awarded Valley Children's Hospital a generous donation through the Disney Children's Hospitals Program. This incredible contribution will support our Child Life Services, bringing comfort and inspiration to families with children facing serious illnesses.
The Disney Children's Hospitals Program is dedicated to reimagining the patient and family experience in children's hospitals. Through this initiative, patients and families are provided with special opportunities for shared experiences, exploration and play. These activities help create a more positive and supportive environment during challenging times, making a significant difference in the lives of our young patients.

Valley Children’s Hospital is deeply thankful to CopperPoint Insurance Companies, in collaboration with M.A. Medina Farm Labor Services Inc. and Relation Insurance Services for their continued generosity. The Aaron Judge ALL RISE Foundation shined the spotlight on Valley Children’s Claude and Betty Lou Laval Angel Fund by awarding a grant. Since 2021, the ALL RISE Foundation has been dedicated to supporting local organizations that make a significant impact in our community, and the Laval Angel Fund Committee is a shining example of this commitment.
The Claude and Betty Lou Laval Angel Fund is a vital part of our community, providing essential support and resources to children and families in need. A big thank you to Children's Miracle Network (CMN) for extending an invitation to our CMN Champion Sylus and his family which attended Children’s Hospitals Week 2025 in Disney World.
This unique event brings together more than 1,000 passionate changemakers throughout the entire network — corporate partners, member hospitals and fundraising champions — to recognize incredible accomplishments and spark new opportunities.
In 2024, CMN set a new record by raising an incredible $464,100,462 in support of 170 children’s hospitals across the U.S. and Canada, including Valley Children’s Hospital. A special bonus was having our beloved mascot, George the Giraffe, make a special appearance too!
