May 2025

FROM THE DIRECTOR

As our school year comes to an end, I would like to thank you for sharing your wonderful children with us. I speak on behalf of all the teachers and staff when I say that it has been an absolute pleasure getting to know and love each of your children this year. Together we shared stories, solved problems, made discoveries, and reached milestones. We prayed together, and we prayed for each other. We played hard, and we had fun!

Thank you for allowing us to live out our mission of nurturing the whole child through Christ. Thank you for supporting our play-based, developmentally appropriate curriculum. Thank you for choosing All Saints School to be a part of your child’s early years. We love and appreciate each one of you!

Cheers to Caroline Swanson and the amazing committee – Emily Bearden, Maura Gillon, Samantha Graves, Caroline Johnson, Alice Maguire, and Liberty Rothamel – for a job well done on this year’s Art Fest!! Thank you to our teachers for providing the children with a variety of process art experiences and for selecting and matting the beautiful artwork that was displayed. From the art exhibition to the ice cream, a fun time was certainly had by all!

Thank you to our wonderful PTO President, Alice Maguire, and Vice President, Maura Gillon, for pouring into our school all year long. To everyone who served on a committee, volunteered, or attended events: your time and support are some of the many things that makes All Saints such a great place to be. I would like to acknowledge a few other members of our PTO as well:

  • Emily Bearden & Sonia Tankersley, Muffins in the Morning chairs
  • Matt Wollenschlaeger, Memory Book chair
  • Courtney Pelfrey, Building Bridges Newsletter chair

Check out the dates below to stay informed as we soak up these last few weeks of learning, fun, and memory making with our favorite friends. I hope you all have an amazing summer and look forward to seeing many of you at camp in June and July!

With Love,

Emory Messeroff

FROM THE PTO

Thank You to Our Incredible Volunteers

As we wrap up another wonderful school year, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to every volunteer who helped make it so special for our children. The PTO simply wouldn’t be possible without the time, energy, and dedication of our amazing parent community. Whether you helped set up, clean up, or worked behind the scenes—your efforts are much appreciated and I am deeply grateful.

A special thank you goes out to the chairs of our event committees. Your leadership, creativity, and commitment brought these cherished events to life. This year, the PTO hosted 13 events, including Popsicles in the Park, Parents Night Out, Trunk or Treat, the Thanksgiving Feast, Nativity Pageant, Trike-A-Thon, Literacy Week, Big Saints Bash, Art Festival, Muffins in the Morning, and a few Moms Night Out gatherings.

With sincere appreciation, I would like to recognize the following event Chairs:

  • Popsicles in the Park – Mellissa Sojourner
  • Trunk-or-Treat – Brittany Schetzle & Emilee Fenn
  • Thanksgiving Feast – Corry Evans & Brooke Delaney
  • Christmas Wreaths – Nicole Ruiz

A special thank you to Courtney Pelfrey, our Director of Communications, for managing the PTO newsletter, coordinating school communications, and keeping our bulletin boards informative and engaging.

We are also grateful to Matt Wollenschlaeger, our School Historian, for his work in producing each class's memory book—a keepsake that families will treasure for years to come.

And finally, my deepest thanks to Maura Gillon, our Vice President, for her tireless dedication and unwavering support throughout the year. Your partnership has made all the difference.

Thank you all for making this school year one to remember!

Alice Maguire, PTO President

GREEN SCHOOLS GRANT

We are excited to announce that All Saints School was awarded a 2025 Green Schools Grant from the Keep Winter Park Beautiful & Sustainable Advisory Board!

This grant is awarded to schools serving Winter Park that are intentional about engaging and educating their students in the practice of sustainability. We have received this grant 10 out of the last 12 years and have used it for a water bottle refill station, natural wooden toys, water trough system, garden enhancements, and more.

This year’s grant will go toward wildlife adoptions for our Pre-K and Kindergarten classes and installing a fishing line recycling bin to protect Florida’s ecosystems.
