The Jeffco Teens Workgroup is for youth in Jefferson County to work together on projects they are interested in. This opportunity includes learning about and participating in coalition work to improve health, safety, and wellness in Jefferson County.
Plus, youth who participate get paid!
Project topics may include:
- Substance misuse prevention
- Mental health support
- Program evaluation
- And more!

This workgroup will meet every month on the first Thursday of the month from 4 – 5:30 PM and may be virtual or in person.
This opportunity is open to all youth aged 11 – 22 who either live and/or go to school in Jefferson County, Colorado.

The Center on Colfax opened in 1976 and has grown to become the largest LGBTQ community center in the Rocky Mountain region, giving voice to Colorado's lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) community and playing a pivotal role in statewide initiatives to reduce harassment and discrimination.
Today we are focused on fulfilling our mission by ensuring that every member of the LGBTQ community has access to the programs and resources they need to live happy, healthy, and productive lives.

Rainbow Alley
Rainbow Alley is a safe, brave space where LGBTQ+ youth (ages 10-17) and their allies find support and acceptance. We provide events, activities, health services, and life-skill building, all in a warm and welcoming environment.

SAGA
Saga offers comprehensive engagement and resources that promotes the development, wellbeing, personal preservation, and empowerment of LGBTQ+ young adults (ages 18-24). Saga provides resources and engagement programs dedicated to paving pathways towards developing professional and life skills, exploring career paths whether through attending college or vocational school, and exploring other ventures in life. Saga is a social and educational space for LGBTQ+ young adults to build community supported independence, close relationships with peers, engage within educational workshops, and participate in community events.
| | The Best Buy Teen Tech Center and Clubhouse at Edgewater are free, after-school programs for youth ages 12-18 with a focus on interest-based learning. At the Clubhouse, we teach technology through exploration, creativity and self-expression. Members can come by after school and stay as long as they’d like to work on creative projects, tinker with technology, hang out with mentors or learn something new. | |
